Among our venture capital investments, FiberLAST Inc., in which we hold a 38% ownership stake, operates in the field of fiber laser technologies.
Established in 2007 at METU Technopolis, FiberLAST produces original fiber laser systems developed using local resources. The company offers solutions across all wavelengths for industrial applications such as cutting, marking, and micromachining using lasers that operate in nanosecond, picosecond, femtosecond, and continuous wave (CW) regimes, as well as for telecommunication and sensor systems.
In addition to developing "local and original" fiber laser technologies—recognized by institutions such as TÜBİTAK, TESİD, and the Parlar Foundation—the company continues to successfully carry out R&D projects, from prototyping to mass production, through university-industry collaborations.
FiberLAST is an effective solution partner in both national and international markets, offering custom-designed laser systems and components for a variety of sectors, including telecommunications, defense, healthcare, academic research, and industrial automation.
